I like grinding games, so it's just a bonus if the game is grind heavy: no, the game is designed to not have grind, i.e. resource/equipment with drop chance: no, there's very little RNG in the game. management elements: yes, corruption, curses and optionally addiction have to be managed. There's also a permanent slime companion you can feed and upgrade. gear progression: only one set of equipment, but you're always upgrading it. There are much stronger sources of power-gain, in particular upgrading gear. leveling system: yes, but it's not impactful. genuinely challenging gameplay: yes, on normal and hard difficulties. Not in the first 10 hours or so because of the slow corruption. Now I will cautiously recommend SKA for having pretty good RPGM gameplay, imo the best ero-game I've played. Not a combat-focused game, but has an adventurer job with combat mechanics. Can't remember how challenging it is, but it deserves a try. I think it's most comparable to the Princess Maker games. Simply Mindy is a turn-based life-sim with many possible endings. And there is event/resource grind in between the card "battles". It's engaging for the first few hours until you come out on top. News Desk is a deckbuilder card-game type of thing with asymmetrical mechanics against an initially stronger opponent. Sengoku Rance and the VenusBlood games have a good reputation, though I haven't played them much. I can't name many good turn-based games, and almost none that aren't RPGM. I don't hate RPGM, it's just that they are really similar in gameplay, and they just become monotone pretty fast, but I'm down to give them a chance. So don't recommend RPGM games, unless the game is a known banger or has a good reputation amongst the community. I tried to play multiple ones throughout the years, but ended up dropping them eventually, because they didn't really have what I was looking for. I know about RPGM games, they are kinda designed for this stuff, but I don't have good relationship with them. no time limit inside of the game (Although, it could creat some challenging gameplay, I would like to make progress in my own pace.) medieval settings (I'm not into futuristic settings nor guns, but great gameplay can change my mind.) It can be text based though if it has visuals) text based games (Even though I'm looking for gameplay, I still want to jerk off and I need visuals for that. I like grinding games, so it's just a bonus if the game is grind heavy resource/equipment with drop chance (So you would need to grind the game and feel rewarded for it.) management elements (Like having a house/town to upgrade or you need to have things to survive daily.) genuinely challenging gameplay (What I mean is that you need to actually think about what to do instead of just overpowering everything with 1 strategy throughout the game.) Looking for turn based combat games where the game is more focused on the gameplay rather than seeing sexual action nonstop.
